DD age 10 positive for thyroid antibodies. Any experience?

DD had some blood tests recently and TSH came back high - around 8. Repeated a few months later and TSH was 3.9 (“normal” but higher than I’d like) but she tested positive for thyroid antibodies.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Can it resolve by itself or does it mean she is very likely to develop hypothyroidism? Could it be a side effect of puberty hormones perhaps? I have hypothyroidism but it didn’t develop till my 30s.

Clinging to straws really , hoping she isn’t going to develop it or at least not this young.

Oh that’s interesting, I didn’t realise the antibodies could come and go. Thank you. I will get a repeat test in a few months I think, if they will give one.
