Cat scratch now panicking

I just wanted to start this off by saying I know this is pathetic, but I am so so worried. I have severe health anxiety as a result of the broth of my third child and it’s getting worse.

my little boy (3) was playing with our kitten today and she mistook his arm for her toy and scratched him - see here. I’m now catsrophising he’s going to get infected and become really I’ll. I’ve cleaned it and put germoleme and sudocreme on it, will it be ok? She has been deflead and dewormed, she’s getting her injections this coming Friday.

thank you if you made it this far.

Nothing wrong with that scratch at all, don't blame the kitten! I've been around cats and dogs all my life, been scratched plenty of times as a kid and it has never done me any harm, just clean the wound up like you would with any other.

That looks a very superficial scratch and you’ve cleaned and disinfected it effectively. Leave it exposed to air and let it scab over, it will be fine.
I still want to know what was in your third child’s soup that was so upsetting?! Grin

The cat scratch isn’t a worry.

It’s good you’ve identified that your anxiety is getting worse so that you can do something about it. Speak to someone asap if you haven’t already.

Please try not to worry. My son has had dozens of scratches like that from our two cats and no harm has come to him.

It looks okay. Of course keep an eye on it, but I would not worry. It is cat bites that need treatment.
