Hi,

My little one came up in a rash 2 weeks ago I took him to the doctors they said it was eczema..

It seems to be getting worse though, I'm just wondering if it's chickenpox.

The pictures don't really do it much justice. I'll take him back to docs again tomorrow to get him checked just wondered what you guys thought

Thanks x

Chickenpox tend to come out quickly so once the first spot appears lots more follow over the next few hours/days. They are really itchy too with a head on them so you would know about it! Your little one would most likely have been unwell or miserable.
New spots wouldn't be appearing 2 weeks later they would have crusted over by now.
Personally I don't think it's chicken pox but can't help with what it actually is!

Sorry I didn't really explain it too well.

The spots I've noticed yesterday and there's more today..

The rash which is by his nappy on his hip has been there for a few weeks xx

Looks like molluscum contagiousum

My daughter has it and it can last for around a year. No itchiness, not unwell just a viral thing that is really common in young children
