Repeated raised b12 level plus bruising and nosebleeds

He’s 12. Big strapping, but bruises easily and lately has had spectacular nosebleeds. His twin sister has had nasal cautery for nosebleeds and is fine but school wrote to say how worried they were so I took him for bloods, again.

He is pale, big dark shadows under eyes and complains sometimes he aches. He is tall and also growing very fast. He’s very ratty, a picky eater and his diet is v carbs based, not loads of red meat.

the bloods - all fine except b12 last time which was higher than the normal range. No action.

This time “within range” but only just, and there was a note to see the doc. Doctor said to retest bloods in 4 months.

Any thoughts?

The B12 is likely to be a red herring and I wouldn't sweat it too much.
