Petechial rash ?

Just collected my son from nursery and he's fine, no fever but I did notice this on just the one arm/wrist/hand
Purple dots really, non blanching. No other symptoms.
Thoughts anyone ?

Yes my son gets this (almost 2) always on the same arm/ hand always when he has a cold. I've spoken to several gps and even taken him to a and e t be told it's common with young children when they have colds/ a virus.

It still worries me every time, obviously I can't say for certain that's what it is but it looks the same as my sons does.

My only concern is I have low platelets for no known reason since being a teen.

they seem ok in themselves I wouldn’t be worried. a&e likely wouldn’t do bloods if the child seems well apart from a
few
spots in my experience X
