Hi, my baby has come back from another country after 5 months. He has developed a cold and has a blocked nose and difficulty swallowing looks like theres a lot of mucus. He wont eat. He is refusing once the spoon goes to his mouth. Im scared he isn’t eating. What can i do?

Is he having plenty of milk?

At 9 months they don't need food nutritionally but it's important that they are drinking formula/breast milk.

GP although my daughter has these symptoms 24/7! doesn't sound crazy bad, but always check with a GP if in doubt especially when they are so little

Yes. He drinks his formula milk fine. No problems there

Getting an appointment nowadays is such a big task. They Have nothing available for days!

If he's drinking formula and seems ok in himself I'd be reassured by that. You really don't need to worry about food for a few days.
