HPV vaccine for boys

Hi,
My son missed out on the hpv vaccine, he was 6 months older than the age they started vaccinating boys!
He's 17 now and not sexually active and was thinking of paying to have it done from Boots.
Anyone have any experience of doing it later for their sons?

We did for my now 18yo. It was straightforward.

Yes. Middle son was eligible but eldest missed it by a year, so I paid for him to have it. Straightforward, no problems. My dad had throat cancer so this was important to me.

dd 19 years didn’t have it at school but has since decided she wants it . NHS website states all girls under 25 get it for free if it was missed however surgery says they don’t do it . Any advice ? Thanks
