Does this need stitches?

DD fell onto a branch today and cut the inside of her upper arm. DH doesn’t think it needs stitches as the sides can’t be brought together but it’s pretty deep and painful. We’ve cleaned it and bought dressings. It’s about one cm across.

I’d say it possibly needs glue and steristrips.

I would pop along to the ED personally, especially if the sides can’t be brought together as they may need to clean it and steristrip it.
