Baby sick only at night

Hi,

Not sure if anyone can give me any advice. We're on holiday at the moment with 11 month old DS, coming home tomorrow and calling GP but we're at a loss!

Baby was sick on Thursday night with one instance of diarrhoea and we thought 'poorly timed sickness bug', probably from trying to eat sand on the beach. He was fine all day Friday and drank his formula fine although wouldn't touch solids. No sick until midnight Friday night. Today he's been a super happy chappy and has had his formula fine. Still no interest in solids but did have a pack of melty buttons. He's just woken up being sick again.

He seems to be sick once or twice then is fine again til the next night. Has anyone experienced this before?!

I had something very similar with my daughter, around that age too, maybe a bit older. She woke up to be sick during the night, for about 5 nights in a row, but other than that absolutely fine. Never got to the bottom of what caused it - sorry not particularly helpful! But it was awful at the time, I was on edge every night waiting for her to be sick.
