Recurrent spots on toddler’s face

My daughter started getting spots on her cheeks in January and has had 3 or 4 big outbreaks since then (pictures below). The first was the worst - the spots became infected and she’s been left with scars. Each time it starts with just a small spot with a yellow middle, and generally a few more appear in the same area in the following days. They stay red for weeks and months after the spot has gone.

She’s had blood tests which didn’t show anything. Doctors and dermatologists can’t give me an answer as to what it is, they just suggest it may be one thing or another. She’s had 3 different types of antibiotics and I’m reluctant to keep giving her them every time she has an outbreak.

Has anyone experienced spots like this and can advise what it may be?

I know this was a long time ago now and you’ve probably got to the bottom of it but i wonder if it is moluscum contagiousm? That’s a viral skin infection and can come and go for 18 months. Been looking on here as my son has similar spots and i’m leaning towards this as the answer although docs seem totally unbothered).

I had similar as an adult for about 6 months. GP and dermatologist not helpful but we believed it to be an autoimmune type reaction, triggered by an earlier rash I had. It took months, I used tiny amounts of dermovate on the areas and did all I could to reduce general inflammation in my body...lots of water, veggies, kept myself cool. I had to just wait for it all to pass...
