What sort of bites are these?

My daughter seems to be a draw to almost every kind of biting pest but today she has been bitten all over her back. We've seen the odd one or two bites happen - on a regular basis but this is something new.

I had assumed mosquitos but could it be bed bugs? We have a cat - who has regular flea treatments but could it be fleas?

They could be bed bug bites, have you checked the corners of the bed and the bed frame?

The frame is metal and clean. This is the top corner of the mattress which looks clean to me too. Im not sure what I'm looking for with bed bugs tbh

I'm pretty sure they aren't flea bites.

Do you think bed bugs are more likely?

It could be that it isn’t bed bugs that was just a suggestion, are they itchy or painful at all?

Itchy ish but not painful. Or she didn't complain of pain anyway.

I'm open to the suggestion it could be bed bugs, I just don't know what to look for to find out.

She was out rolling around in the park last night but we didn't spot anything on her last night so I feel like it must've happened after she went to bed.
