Would really appreciate some advice. My 18mo old started having pus coming out of her ear last Sunday. On Monday the GP prescribed Amoxicillin on the phone but said only start them if she gets more unwell (she's had a lot of antibiotics so cautious about giving them unless really needed). Tuesday she developed a fever and was lethargic, sleeping all day. Started Amoxicillin on Wednesday although pus had stopped and she had slightly loose stools. Thursday diarrhea now watery and yesterday she vomited. After calling 111, stopped antibiotics in case they're upsetting her tummy.
She now has no fever but still loose stools and still lethargic. She's slept on me almost all day every day since Tuesday.
Should I take her into A&E to be seen? She's not actually been seen by a doctor all week. But she's got no fever. But the excessive sleeping and lethargy are worrying me.
