Hi. My 8 year old had suspected food poisoning couple weeks ago. She was poorly from last Tuesday until this weds on and off with sloppy poops with bits of blood. We went to doctors they said as symptoms had stopped now no more runs or stomach cramps headaches blah blah they wouldn’t do anything so felt like wasted time going.

she’s been fine since weds, had a poop every day but it’s greenish colour and white mucus so I’m wondering if she has a bacterial infection in bowels or something anyone had anything similar? I feel like I’m pestering doctor.

My 12 yo DD had blood in her poo after some constipation. It was put down to an anal fisher we now use preparation H cream on her bum to heal the area. Any big shop like tesco or Sainsbury's will have it
