? Rash, surely not chicken pox?

Can anyone shed any light on this rash? He has an episode of vomiting on Wednesday, and two days of high fever at that time. And then a few spots came up on Friday so I assumed it was going to turn out to be chicken pox. But they've all stayed on his face and look like this? A few have been there a bit longer than that and we thought he was scratching them so we cut all his nails but more keep coming up. Any ideas?

Ask a pharmacist?

Thank you! I just thought they were too small to be chicken pox, my other son's were much larger and on his body too not just face? I guess they're all different!

Looks like it could be chicken pox, especially if more are still coming up. It also looks like you are out and about which is a pretty irresponsible if you think there's a chance he has chicken pox.

I personally don't think they look at all like chicken pox, everyone I have asked have agreed, they don't itch at all and they are all scabbed over. I understand you can go out with chicken pox if they are scabbed over? I thought more likely to be a viral rash and you aren't contagious with this as long as the fever has gone.
