Is this hay fever?

Hi all,
DS has been rubbing his eyes a lot, they are swollen, one of them more than the other. Do you think it could be hay fever? Thanks

Does he have any other symptoms?
Try an antihistamine and see what happens

Ask the pharmacy for a child's antihistamine and try it. There are different types so if it only helps a little then try a different one.

My DD eyes send her insane with itching, five minutes after a tablet she's fine so you should know quite quickly.

Thank you both, no other symptoms. Will go to the pharmacy tomorrow.

If there are no other symptoms he might be starting with a stye or infection, or there might be something in it.

He was sneezing quite a lot this evening. I will visit a pharmacy tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
