My baby has constantly been sick after ever bottle since a few days old. Doctors are now testing him for cmpa has he has a few symptoms and has now been started on omeprazole for reflux due to gaviscon not working. However ds is still being sick constantly after every bottle to the point it's just clear fluid? Any suggestions we are waiting for an appointment for peads?

Is he putting in weight ?
Do you wind after every ounce and keep him upright after ?

Yes wind every 1-2 ounce upright for at least 30 minutes after feeding. He's gaining weigh just not as much as they hope

Have you tried paced feeding which slows the rate of milk flow and gives him more control.
Just from anecdotal experience as a mw and HV I have seen babies bottle feed really quickly to satisfy their hunger then want to carry on because they need to suck. Does he have a dummy to use to try this at the end of a feed?
How much milk does he have?

We have tried pace feeding, using a smaller teat feeding on the side so only half the teat is full as advised by hv still no luck he has a dummy and he has 6oz every 4 hours we've also tried feeding smaller amounts more often however he's still bringing a lot of it back up again.

How old is your baby now? Could you try shorter times between feeds for a few times and smaller amounts of milk to see if it stays down, his stomache might not be big enough?

If your baby is on formula have you tried changing it, it could be worth trying? If it’s bm could you try changing your diet, reduce/eliminate milk and see if it helps?
