Rash on babies head

Hi,

our 7 week old boy (born 39 weeks) is still in hospital due to some issues but he has a rash on his forehead & eyebrows that I have mentioned to the nurses but no one seems concerned. Neither do the paediatricians on the ward.

is there anything I can do for him? I’ve been gently rubbing it with cotton wool & warm water and it comes away but not sure how to keep it moisturised or what to use to keep it moisturised.

I thought it might be cradle cap but he’s not got any in his scalp, just across his forehead & in his eye brows. I’m a FTM so just want to make sure he’s comfortable and his skin isn’t damaged.

thank you!

Your photo is a little blurry but it looks a bit like the eczema my dc had as a baby. We were prescribed Doublebase gel (moisturizer stuff) and it settled really quickly. It went completely and dc has not had eczema again since (now 19!)
