Hello everyone, I’m hoping you can help ,yesterday I made a massive mistake. The sky was very overcast when I was on a walk with my 6 week old son. I had him in the car seat pram attachment and for some reason pulled the sun shade down so he had no protection whatsoever. I didn’t think anything of it as the sky was so grey and overcast ( no obvious sun light on his face) however on the way home I looked up at the sky and facing the angle he was in the car seat facing directly up at the sky the sun was very very bright( just couldn’t see it when not looking up) my son had his eyes closed the whole time we was at the park ( around an hour) can I take some comfort in the fact his eyes were closed when facing the sun ? Will this protect his eyesight or can UV pass through his eyelids? Will never make this mistake again and wondering if anyone else has Experianced similar ?

Don't worry. He'll be fine.

He will be fine, don't worry. Babies are pretty robust.
