What is this rash??

Anyone seen a rash similar to this on their little one?

She's 21 months... had this for about a week and now presenting with temp.

Doctors are useless haven't been able to get her an appt anywhere...

She's got this on most of her body as well btw..

Does it go with the glass test?

Does it feel like sandpaper?

If all is no to the above it may just be a normal viral rash, very normal for little ones to get these all over, I hope they feel better soon

Always worth ringing the doctor if you are worried at all

My baby has very similar at the moment. GP said hand foot and mouth probably although it doesn’t look like any images of HFAM that I have seen. He’s got a high temperature and is generally a bit grumpy.l

Gotten much worse today and she has cried and cried all night long. Refusing to eat or drink now.

Managed to get her in docs at half 10 so will let you all know.

Rash looks much more aggressive now

But I am starting to think it may be hand foot and mouth as I'm starting to get random spots on my hands in between my fingers.

Don't we just love the nursery plagues 🤣

Oh yes they are a delight, my child was awful with HFM and couldn't eat for about a week and stopped drinking and the rash did spread but the spots were very noticeable as HFM to begin with and then lots and lots of ulcers inside the mouth

This is why I'm unsure as it doesn't seem like typical HFM rash...

But she for sure has a really sore mouth, stopping her eating drinking and sleeping.

Both absolutely shattered 😭
