Weird sickness bug?

Does this sound like a sickness bug? Son was fine Wednesday all day, projectile vomited Wednesday night at 3am, has been fine Thursday Friday but last night (Saturday night) had a tummy ache and watery smelly diarrhoea. The weird thing is is that he's had 2x normal stools on Thursday and Saturday in the day....so is that even a sickness bug? If anyone has seen my past threads he has just got over his 4th bout of tonsillitis in 5 months (antibiotics finished Thursday morning) which he's never had a reaction to but thought I'd mention it.

How long did this last @Starfish125 ? Think we have the same bug in our house now - although I know it’s months later! It’s very odd with such a slow onset and then such violent sicky episodes after food and water. It’s been 6 days for my DD now :(

We had this bug in May I think. My son actually only vomited 3 times and he was fine after that, no loose poos or anything. I vomited once and was then fine until 2 or 3 days later, vomited twice more and had the runs for over 10 days - had to be signed off work for fear of passing it on!! Husband was also very very I'll with it but the onset wasn't strange. Perhaps some people's systems attempt to fight it off for a few days but fail?
