Chickenpox vaccine after effects

I've got my 13 month DS booked for his 1st chickenpox vaccine this Fri - decided to do it because he's at nursery 3 days a week and two of his cousins had really painful cases of chickenpox so we'd rather spare him that.

For his 1 year jabs and his newborn jabs he was really under the weather for a few days - super tired, temperature, difficulty sleeping for 2 or 3 days afterwards.

If your child had the chickenpox jabs at a similar age what after effects did they experience?

Trying to work out if we should keep the weekend schedule free just incase he has a similar response to the other jabs.

@24HoursFromTulseHill my daughter got hers done at just over 3 years old. She was absolutely fine after hers. My auntie is a vaccination nurse, so naturally I quizzed her non stop beforehand. She said of all the jabs kids get, the chicken pox one is the most tolerable one they have, in terms of side effects. Of all the ones she's given, and she's given hundreds especially over covid when that's all she did, they always ask after the first one how the child has been and she can't remember anyone saying anything bad. Most of the ones she does they end up having doctors as parents so it shows if it's good enough for the doctors kids!

Best thing I did for my little one to give her chicken pox jab!
