My son has chicken pox, started with 2x small red spots on Sunday when I bathed him, then lots more yesterday and a bit of itching starting this morning. He has no temperature at all. Is this normal? Or does this follow through after the spots appear? I read a temp starts then the spots follow.

Sounds normal according to my experience of chicken pox at that age.

This is what my son was like, no temp and didnt really itch either despite lots of spots.

Check behind his ear - there should be spots there if it’s chicken pox
