Newborn - sticky eye?

Newborn 2.5weeks old poo'd in the bath this evening, drained, cleaned bath and bathed baby again! Baby has woken up with goo in one eye. I've cleaned with cooled boiled water and fresh pieces of cotton wool.

GP closed until Tuesday so what to do before then? 111?

Googling newborn pink eye has me worried

I would keep cleaning. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before wiping with the boiled cooled water.

Any baby under 4 weeks old should be seen by GP if they have conjunctivitis. Call 111.

Eye seems clear this morning 🤔 I'll keep cleaning with cooled boiled water and call GP first thing tomorrow to make an appt just in case. Thanks
