Newborn eyes and lights

Hello, I accidentally didn’t realise my sons travel cot was directly under the big ceiling light in the living room and the light is so bright, he is only 3 weeks old and I am worried the bright light has done some permanent damage to his eyes as I know babies eyes are so sensitive, should I contact the doctor or health visitor? Does anyone know the extent of damage that this light would cause? Thank you for your time
