Hi All,

I'm prefacing this by saying that yes I will see a GP or pharmacist but it may take a few days to make this happen.

so in the meantime, has anyone’s kid had this on their bum crack before? It’s appeared overnight and DD8 says it’s itchy. I’ve made sure she’s cleaned it with water and put some savlon on it before bed.

I’ve never seen a small collection of spots like this before, in a bum crack!

thanks :)

Looks kind of infected blisters. I'd get it seen quickly incase it turns into a nasty infection

Looks like impetigo to me. It particularly likes warm moist places.

Thanks, I was thinking it may be impetigo. I’ll try to get her seen tomorrow if possible.

Impetigo , would bet my mortgage on it. Be very careful it doesn't spread, Sony share towels, be really careful with hang hygiene. Definitely needs to be seen tomorrow before it gets worse.

The GP confirmed impetigo and she’s started antibiotics today and has hibiscrub also.
