Toddler bad breath

DS 2.5 has mild bad breath a lot of the time. We brush his teeth twice a day and he recently had a check up and had perfect teeth.

He hardly has any sugary foods or things like that.

He's quite a snotty little chap so wondering if this is related.

Does anyone else have experience of this or any theories?

Snot smells also could be tonsil stones.

Tonsil stones or I would ask about a blood glucose check as diabetes can make the breath smell.

Thequeenofwishfulthinking · 03/05/2023 06:39

It will probably be tonsil stones as suggested.
They stink. Does your toddler have a history of sore throats and tonsillitis?

They go hand in hand. Could you look at the tonsils to see if they have yellow or white patches?

Thanks everyone. I'll have a look at tonsils and will continue investigating
