Teenager spots

My 14 year old has started to get quite bad spots, I think its mostly due to hormones as worse when on her period and mostly on her forehead (she has no fringe so not that).
I have had a look at different spot creams but thought I'd ask and see if I can get opinions on what worked for your teens.
Thank you

My Dd uses Acnecide face wash - it’s a miracle solution! Google some before and after pictures online. It really does work wonders. Dd is spot free after suffering for some time. She will use it indefinitely. One word of warning though it stains towels etc yellow so need to be careful there’s no splashing when using. It’s available at Boots and some supermarkets.

Mine use Cerave or Cetaphil face wash and then Pai’s The Pioneer moisturiser and Carbon Star oil. Carbon Star is fantastic- if I feel a spot brewing, I apply it and it’s really calmed down by the morning.
