Is this psoriasis?

Hard scaly patch on my daughter's hip. Not wet (although it looks like it in this pic). Only a small patch, bit smaller than a ten pence. She's prone to a bit of eczema which clears up with moisturiser.

Wondering whether to treat at home with moisturiser, ask pharmacist or make GP appointment.

Is this psoriasis?

I'd go to a pharmacist first.

The bio isn’t a common starting place for psoriasis but that downs ran it isn’t. I’d start with the pharmacist.

Dermatologist told me it was very rare for young DC to develop psoriasis lesions. DDs looked exactly like DHs as a toddler - thick scaly patch Sad

I wonder if that is more of a fungal thing, looks like strep A patch tbh.

Did wonder about Step A as her brother was treated for bacterial tonsillitis a month ago. Dd was fine, no sign of sore throat but still.

I'll try pharmacist as a first step thanks everyone
