Suntan Lotion??

Hi guys, going for our first family holiday this year & would like everyone's opinions/honest reviews on sun tan lotion brands?
There seems to be a lot of horror stories out there so id like tried & trusted opinions before i go getting the devils burnt! :)
kids will be in & our of water a lot & all have pale skin/Fair hair currently so obvs factor 50 is the one but its the brands I'm struggling with!

Depends on ages. When mine were babies I always used la Roche posay factor 50, but it’s very expensive. Now that they’re an older I use Lidl own brand factor 50. We always reapply after swimming and always put uv rash guards on them in the pool. Made it through a heatwave in Spain last July with no sunburn and we all have very pale Irish skin apart from my youngest who is very sallow.

Boots Soltan is good and cheap.
