Need a little advice or guidance..

Baby boy is only 2 weeks old, but his upper gums are red raw, and we can see two little white teeth buds. Constantly trying to knaw on his fingers. Poor soul.

I've looked at the calpol guidance online and it says either from 2 month old or 4kg, but he was actually born 4.25kg/9lb 6oz anyway? So I suppose my question is would you go off age recommendation or weight?
Or would you just air on the side of caution regardless?
Even anbesol says either age or weight and I don't know which one to go with?

We're managing for now, just feeling sorry for him 😢

I wouldn't give either without medical advice

I'm gonna go to the pharmacy in the morning to get some advice. Just curious as to what other people have done, I have both products in already.

As your baby is so young they will likely refer you to your gp or hv for advice.
