Breath-holding - nursery concerned

Hi.
My DS has just turned two.
He has a habit of holding his breath and turning blue when distressed. It looks like a seizure, but I'm assured that it is a thing that small children do. It last a few seconds then he snaps out of it, sort of limp and then fine.
Nursery have called saying he fell over today and did this breath-holding thing, and they want a risk assessment.
Should I be concerned?
I thought this was normal and just something which young children do which they grow out of?
I'm now scared that it's more serious.
Does anyone else's children do this? Can anyone advise? Thanks!
