Vomiting toddler

Had to collect my toddler from nursery today as he was sick. It’s the first sicknesses bug we’ve had to deal with.

Any tips for food etc?

Also, he’s been asleep since 1:30 which is longer nap than usual but in my mind letting him sleep is the best thing - but should I be waking him?

Kids will sleep much more when poorly, it’s how they heal. just check on him if it’s much longer in case he’s very hot and you need to give him something to get his fever down. Otherwise just rest, fluids and ride it out. Hope he feels better soon x

Thank you @wobblymum1! He woke about 15 minutes after I posted. He's eaten a couple of crackers and had some peanut butter on bread and is already asleep again. Hoping it's just a 24 hour thing. His ear is quite red so we're wondering if it's actually related to an ear infection rather than a stomach bug x

Oh that’s great he managed those things to eat and totally normal he’s back to sleep again especially as he’s young.
good spot with the red ear. maybe see how he is tomorrow and if he’s pulling at
it or complaining it’s sore x
