Needs Advice about child after having tonsils removed

My 4 year old had her tonsils removed 3 days ago and she was great first 1 day home she was grand but last night and today pain has been bad but calpol etc helps and she eating tiny tiny bits and drinking little sips at a time, but problem is its 11.45 Sunday and she hasnt peed since 15.45 yesterday so would be 18 hours, she in super form if i am honest now she had the medicine, should I ring someone for advice I dont know or is this expected after that operation.

Thats good news!

I found that my DD was in a lot of pain until the scabs fell off about Day 10, so we were constantly alternating between the calpol and nurofen. Little and often is best rather than 3 meals a day.

One word of warning - do not give her any fruit or fruit juices. Its like drinking real acid!
