Hi my daughter, just turned 11, started having sickness and diarrhoea a week past Tuesday night. Both sickness and diarrhoea right up to Saturday night. We took her to out of hours on the Sunday. Gave her a urine sample and finger prick test and felt her stomach. He put it down to gastroenteritis. Now friday and the sickness has stopped but she’s still having severe diarrhoea throughout the night. That’s 11 days of this. We have the doctors today. Surely gastroenteritis dosent last this long. She’s missed a week and a half of school.
