3 year old being sick every day for a month

My 3 year old has been throwing up once a day now for around a month. We are waiting on a referral but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced something similar?

It started off when he got a cough/cold and by week two he really wasn’t himself. The Dr then prescribed antibiotics for a chest infection, and whilst on the medication he also stopped being sick. 3 days after he finished the medication he started to throw up again, just once a day. We took him back and they said it could be reflux but the medication for this made no difference, so now waiting for the referral to a paediatric Dr.

Once he is sick he feels fine. No high temp, just has a phlegmy cough again, but the Dr said there was no chest infection. He isn’t throwing up the same time every day either, it’s random.

He is running around and playing as normal so I wasn’t too worried, but now my husband has mentioned brain tumour and I cannot stop worrying!

Has he had this cough the whole time? My kids always vomit when they are snotty as the snot runs down the back of their throat, they can’t clear it and then vomit which always includes a lot of snot.

My son was like this at around 18 months. Turned out he had rotavirus. He got over it with some probiotics.

I hope he's feeling better soo.

Yes he’s had the cough the whole time, apart from when on the antibiotics as it seemed to clear it up for a short while . I am hoping it’s just this and once the cough goes he’ll be better! Thank you

Thank you. Will give the probiotics a try, see if they help

Not my children but when I had an awful cough over Christmas I was sick from it every day for about two weeks. It gradually got better.

Just wanted to update my post, as it turned out to be Celiac Disease!

He’s doing much better now.
