Is this inflamed and infected

Hi everyone ds is 6weeks old. He had problems with his cord falling off . It didn’t fall off till after three weeks. Kept weeping and bleeding. Once it was off it seemed to heal nicely. When we change him now we notice his belly button is like this. Does this look inflamed / infected .
ds skin normally goes red when he’s warm however I’m unsure if this is inflamed due to it not healing right initially

I'm not medically trained and obviously if you're concerned get advice

However I'd not say that looks infected, maybe slightly inflamed. Does it seem sore or is it smelly? Has it been rubbing on the nappy?

I'd try some sudocrem or similar on it and see how it goes providing he's otherwise we'll and not in pain or feverish etc.
