Purple lips in bath?

Hi all, my 5 year old was in the bath tonight (her cheeks and face did feel cold) but the water was nice and warm, and her lips were turning blue/purple. She was absolutely fine in herself, I'm ringing the docs first thing to have her checked but has anyones child had this before? She has ulcerative colitis but otherwise well. She's undergone a general anaesthetic so surely if there was a heart problem it'd have been picked up then? Just a bit concerned. Confused when I got her out they were still a little discoloured but once she was dressed and under the electric blanket they were nice and pink again. Any reassurance would be super. Thanks

I used to get blue lips when I ate ice cream as a kid!

She was cold. I used to stay in the lake in the summer all day, my mum had to drag me out with chattering teeth and blue lips a lot.

ProbBly cold even though the bath was warm. If her shoulders etc were out her chest etc exposed that’s probably where she was cold.
my little boy gets this in cold weather even when he’s fully wrapped up and it freaks me out every time

Thank you. She had a mcflurry seconds before getting in the bath, she felt cold to touch and got in the warm bath and I was like Shock when I saw her lips a few mins after. I got her washed and out quite quickly into some warm pjs, socks and a dressing gown and popped her under the electric blanket and they were nice and pink again and have been since. Just scared me!

My daughter who is 4 has always had blue or purple lips and her cheeks go purple aswell when she is cold and in the bath. We tend to shower now as its quicker for her. Have spoken to a few doctors and they said they dont see anything wrong with her.

Mine still do this when I'm chilly!
