Hi all, my eldest son has his birthday party this weekend and his younger brother has come out in chickenpox this evening.

Obviously I won't take my youngest to the party now but do I need to pre warn the parents coming to the party in case they don't want to come now?

My eldest had them already when he was younger.

Second to that, how am I supposed to do the school run next week?

I'm prone to overthinking things like this so please let me know what you would/did do.

Thanks!

Wouldn’t hurt to warn the parents out of courtesy, I know someone who won’t even be around people who’ve had contact.

Is youngest young enough to be in a pushchair? I just kept little one in the pushchair on school run so he wasn't near anyone. In terms of the party I wouldn't be worried about it- if you wanted to mention it you could but half of the kiddies are probably carrying it without knowing yet anyway!

Yes, I would send a message out and let people know.

You never know someone could be pregnant and want to be super strict on contact.
