Marks on 5 week old?

Hello everyone

My DD is 5 weeks old and I've noticed these new marks on her back. She definitely didn't have them before. Any idea what these are? Thank you

Could it be the beginnings of a hemangioma? I would get it checked out, by health visitor or GP.

Capillary haemangiomas, also called strawberry birthmarks. An overgrowth of tiny blood vessels in the skin. Tend to appear in the first few weeks. Then over the next few months get bigger, before starting to get smaller and paler again. Majority are pretty much invisible by school age.
