Stomach pain

Hi
my daughter had a stabbing stomach pain left hand side of her abdomen in November last year. Pain lasted for 3 weeks, calpol and nurofen didn’t ease the pain at all. Went to A&E who tested blood, urine and had an ultra sound. All came back fine. Ended up they treated her for UTI and reflux - both which she didn’t have. Pain continued then pain just disappeared. It came back 3 weeks ago, stabbing pain left side of abdomen. Back to A&E, same tests done, more antibiotics for UTI which didn’t change anything. Pain not responding to calpol/nurofen. Pain is still there constantly. It hurts more when u press the area and when she runs or jumps. A and E doc said it’s either UTI or functional abdominal pain. More antibiotics given for UTI. He was a bit busy and didn’t explain the functional abdominal pain and was a bit dismissive when I tried to ask what can help that. Decided to visit GP the same day, she did a urine test which came back normal annd had no idea what’s causing the pain. Anyone else heard of something similar??
thanks
