DS 12 has these all over his trunk.. he's had chicken pox when you get & these aren't itchy, blistery nor does he have any other symptoms like a temp etc.. they're slowly spreading but he's had it for about a week now. As it's near on impossible to get through to a GP, does anyone recognise what it could be? Took him to pharmacist who ruled out ringworm.. & have given pirotin in case it's an allergy- no effect.. TIA!

I've no idea. I suppose as long as he's well in himself not to be too worried

Looks like hives. I come out in hives if I get really stressed. If you look up what they look like you might see a similarity

@EezyOozy that's interesting! No obvious 'herald patch' I can see though but does look like it might be this.

I had pityriasis versicolor and it looked similar, although not quite as spread out. You could see it slowly spreading over the course of a few weeks. Not itchy or anything.

Hope it clears up soon. Had he just recently had a vaccination? I saw that was one of the possible causes xx

ggssgg · 22/02/2023 20:52

@stepkidscopingstrategy he had flu vaccine back end of last year..?
