DS9 (who is normally healthy as an ox) has the most awful cough- think croup in a baby but in a 9 year old. Actually sounds like a giant seal barking. Worse after exercise and at night, and he coughs to point of reaching, so he’s getting very little sleep as a result.
No fever after a 24 hour one at the start of it and normal appetite etc so I’m not worried he’s very unwell but oh this cough is the worst I’ve heard and it’s pushing day 11 of it now.
I tend to rush to gp too quickly due to my health anxiety so find it super helpful to get other mum’s thoughts on here on whether this is gp worthy or just a bad cough he needs to wait out. Thank you in advance 🌻
