DS back/stomach pain

DS (6) has been complaining of a pain which started on the left side of his lower back and has now moved to the lower left side of his stomach. He says it hurts when he breathes out. Any idea what this could be?

Has he had any falls or accidents that could've hurt something?

Has he done any exercise he doesn't normally do? Mine have been like this and it's DOMS from gymnastics or horse riding.

I had some pain in my lower back / kidney area when appendicitis was starting, so much so that I first thought I had a kidney infection. Loss of appetite was immediate too.

No falls or new exercises. He’s on the sofa and can’t get comfy because every time he moves it really hurts. Seems to be getting more painful
