Should I get mark checked out?

Hello,

My little boy has had a mark on his neck/shoulder for years. It’s kind of flesh coloured and a little raised. But often when he’s a little run down or something it blisters up to something much bigger then goes down again. He’s had it so long I’ve not paid a lot of attention to it but I was going to the GP on Wednesday to get a mark on his finger checked out (thought it was some really weird mole) but turns out it was a blood blister that finally all came out in the bath yesterday. My husband thinks I should still get the mark on his neck checked out but I’m not sure whether it would justify a GP slot or whether I should cancel?

Anyone have any thoughts on what it might be and whether you think I should get it looked at? Admittedly my husband and I are just a bit paranoid at the moment because the mark on his finger really did look like some really weird mole! So now we’re paying more attention to everything! So it would be good to get some rational thoughts from all of you lovely people :)

attaching a photo below. It’s the pinky flesh coloured bump in the middle. Can barely see it! But it does blister up sometimes (doesn’t bleed or anything like that).

thanks in advance :)
