Conjunctivitis and ear ache

Following a cold that started ten days ago and has been mild but persistent DD now has what looks like conjunctivitis. It's quite bad. The pharmacist suggested Golden Eye antibiotic ointment so we're doing that.

She's had earache for 48 hours but it's not terrible. She's slightly warm but not got a fever.

At what point is a trip to the GP a good idea?

Wouldn’t hurt to get a GP call. Sounds like bacteria is still hanging around, may need antibiotics to get rid.

Thanks for your reply. At the moment contacting the GP is all by e-consult and they just seem to automatically prescribed antibiotics without seeing people. I'm hesitating because I don't want her to have ABs unless it's necessary.
