My son has been caching ever bug the last few months and my anxiety it through the roof. He's jsit got over a sickness bug and throat infection

I am paranoid about him having a temperature

He's been fine all weekened, went to nursery yesterday and had been eating

He woke during the night and came into my room. He as absolutely roasting (didn't check temperature but certainly felt like one) I felt very hot myself in my room and actually top my pyjamas of.

He laid with me for a while and after about 20 mins he had cooled down. When he's in his bed He tends to hibernate under the cover completely. Would this make him overheat temporarily?

He seemed fine this morning (although does have a slight cough and runny nose still )

Im not sure about the overheating, but mine, when they have been coming out of a virus, have had a 'spike' in the night like you describe (usuallly 11pm / midnight) then fine in the morning

Nothing wrong him tucking under his duvet. If your ill a temp will come regardless of what you do and making then to cold no covers can actually make him ill. Don't panic we've had 6 months of 3 babies ill one bug after another. They get over it so don't stress to much 🙂

Thank you both for messages

I put him back in his bed after a while with his duvet over him and checked on him a while later and he didn't seem 'hot' hopefully it's just the end of the virus
