I just took DD4 to the doctor with a 5 day fever as the only symptom. She said one ear looks really red and angry behind the eardrum and gave us antibiotics. DD says her ear doesn't hurt though, she's shown no signs of that. Can you have an ear infection if there's no pain? Just worried the doctor might have got it wrong!
