Dd14 hasn't had periods for 6 months and gp is concerned about her high fsh. Today I noticed she gets hot flashes too, has been complaining about temperature issues for a while . She is being treated for an anxiety/stress disorder, I thought that was causing the amenorrhea. Now I am 😫. Anybody with positive stories?

FSH is the sex hormone as I’m sure you know. My son has high FSH and doesn’t mean good things.

have they expanded her and looked for other causes in side with abnormal FSH?

Has she had her prolactin levels tested? I had high prolactin which caused similar symptoms to this and it's easily treated.

Thankyou. She is seeing a paediatrician within 2'weeks.

@BabyST would you mind me asking what high FSH means for your son?
my son has had elevated FSH and originally his endocrinologist said it was unusual and he’s test it again. He’s had the second blood test and it’s still high but I’m yet to hear back and we don’t see the endo again until March.

@JammySJ my son was diagnosed with Klinefelter Syndrome as a result of high FSH
