Hello, my DD6 has had cough and runny nose for ages - not overly bothering her and I just think it’s virus after virus.
however, I just looked in her mouth and her left tonsil has a red line over it- like it was cut. she says it’s not sore, and no white pus patches to see, but dr Google says strep symptom ☹️☹️What would you do? X

Cough and runny nose are pretty good indicators that it isn’t strep. Honestly I think she’s fine, especially considering there is no white patches on her tonsils.

DD had it a few weeks ago and had a really high temperature, sore throat + v inflamed, white patchy tonsils x

Thank you soooooo much.
shes suddenly got a temp today (not very high) but still got this cough and runny nose so hoping a good sleep after some calpol and a rest tomorrow will help. Really needed to hear reassurance tonight so thank you and I hope your dd is all better now 💞
