Baby has not gained weight as expected she’s not lost but health visitor at me to feed feed. I was looking at babies throat and today noticed that she has two white spots on throat, I mentioned to doctor but then dr got sidetracked.

I have had tonsilitis in last few weeks and didn’t know if that or if oral thrush likely? or if no concern. I’ll re mention to GP but just wondered if anyone had came across

she’s 5 weeks and averaging 60ml
birth weight 5 11
now 6 13 but told not good enough

Does she finish it all?

Seems full and settled after?

That looks more thrushy to me

Is she happy? Wet nappies? Dirty?

Get super hot on the hygiene for her mouth
Wash and Sanitise everything she puts into her mouth like dummies bottle teats

She will need a px for the oral thrush gel
Can you fill out an e consult form now so GP can call you tomorrow to discuss?

Or also milk btw

Not that I mean it's thrush
Just it doesn't look like a bad throat in that photo

I had upped her to 120 after her guzzling last week and also health visitor previously said better to have waste, tonight putting in 120ml each feed and last 3 feeds she’s taken 60ml (2 hours)
she finishes but has been slowish
she falls asleep, I put to her mouth to see if she’ll take further and she doesn’t.

still lots of grunts but sickness compared to yesterday has improved, only a little mouthful tonight has come up
unsure if switch to anti cows or because I have just let her take 60ml and went against advice to force :(

I personally dont think forcing will do any good
She will bring it up and be uncomfortable

Was she being sick before? Or only since you e tried to give more than normal?

She was sick in first few weeks then it got better and to stage where it wasn’t much if sick, then health visitor wanted feed feed and thGz when sickness started worse than before
